Oh gosh, well I guess I’d have to say my favorite band would be the Gorillaz because I’ve loved them for so long I can’t deny I’m pretty damn loyal and I think it’s brilliant that they’re animated, I love the artistic aspect. I think the most deep and enticing song I know would have to be Tone Poem by Fischerspooner, the lyrics were found on the inside of the cover of a physics textbook from 1895 and I think it’s just so incredibly beautiful and poetic when you play it really loud. I find Earthly Bodies by J. Tillman, Over the Pond by The Album Leaf, Hands Remember by Seabear, Holocene by Bon Iver, Viernes by El Trio de Omar Rodriguez Lopez and Stars by The xx quite moving as well. Drum Gets a Glimpse by Liars is really hauntingly beautiful, it’s a sort of dialogue between Drum and Mt. Heart Attack and it sounds as though there’s a Geiger counter in the background. I guess overall though as a whole band I’d say M83, it seems as though I’ve spent so many majestic moments of my life listening to their songs, especially their old stuff. Shit sorry that was so long, music moves me.
